You misunderstood my previous post. I stated in the post that I want to rely more on search engine traffic. Well my experimentation with Search Engine Optimization has shown me that it is a better strategy.
Often you only need to labor once on an SEO strategy and the result keep coming even when you are not active on your website.

Search engine traffic is definitely the best. I agree with you that the social bookmarking sites are very time consuming. I constantly post my blogs posts there anyway. Every once in a while, you may get dugg or stumbled just because people actually like what you’ve written. Sometimes it’s not all about connections. Sometimes people appreciate good content. Search engine traffic is the best and with seo specialization one would expect to hear that. It’s still a good strategy to put a 1/2 or an hour into W2.0 to interact with communities, do social bookmarking, and blog posts.

If you don’t bother with Seach engine traffic the you’ll experience short term results at best unless you are spending all of your time in other venues.

1. Get my website on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization right.
2. Provide Quality Content that address the need of the visitors that I am expecting.
3. Go out to build backlinks from authority websites in the niche that I am targeting for traffic.”

It takes consistant dicipline, but if you plan it out and execute a proper strategy you will gradually see the rankings, traffic, and backlinks. This which will enrich your visitors experience and when you couple it with a focus on conversions it’ll generate an income if you follow through. “Plan your plan and do your plan.”
